ABOUT
NOTICE, July 11: Due to the unfortunate changes of the paving schedule of the paddock area and no date in sight our ability to provide 1/3 of the curriculum is impacted. Our goal has always been to provide a a proper curriculum to our our students and without the ability to do that we cannot proceed with the course. As such, we unfortunately are having to cancel our Advance School and will be providing refunds to everyone who have booked for the Aug 08 course.
We thank you for wanting to spend time with us and appreciate your understanding with the decision we had to make.
While it is held at a track ANY type of motorcycle can attend as this is a street school not a racing/performance school or track day
- INTRODUCTION
-
Our Advance Street Riding Course is taught by professional riding instructors who have attended some of the best riding schools in the world. Our mission is to in-still a professional attitude in each rider we coach when it comes to our sport.
What is a professional? Years ago we saw a sign inside the USS Midway carrier museum in San Diego that read:
PROFESSIONAL: One who believes that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing rightOur team could not agree more.
That has always been our mindset at our school. We share with you what to practice and how to practice correctly. We have all heard practice makes perfect but if you practice wrong you get better at doing it wrong. We believe our 3 P’s, Perfect Practice makes Permanent.
This is not a race course or anything do with racing. This course is to equip you with the proper techniques to handle your motorcycle in the best and safest way possible in the many different situations that will occur. We want and are sure you do as well, for you to be comfortable and confident whether riding alone or within a group.
So come on out and enjoy riding your wonderful machine in one of the safest environments you can, at a racetrack called Rocky Mountain Motorsports Park off of Highway 2 just 20 minutes North of our great city. Check out the track [MAP] – no distractions, everyone going the same way, no cars and people cutting you off…

• then we will have you ride the east track working on emergency acceleration and braking techniques with a very important brake release drill to master the art of not only applying but releasing the brakes in a smooth manner.
• the west track is where we will work on the most important skill to really understand and build confidence with, the art of “trail braking”. It is a game changer in our sport.
• after lunch we change up our training menu to include multiple lead follow laps within even smaller groups to work on your cornering techniques while providing constant feedback after every lap. You will still have the opportunity to continue to practice in our low speed FRC zone or just relax and get ready for more track-based riding.
