INTRODUCTION

Our Advance Street Riding Course is taught by professional riding instructors who have attended some of the best riding schools in the world. Our mission is to in-still a professional attitude in each rider we coach when it comes to our sport.

What is a professional? Years ago we saw a sign inside the USS Midway carrier museum in San Diego that read:

PROFESSIONAL: One who believes that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right

Our team could not agree more and that has always been our mindset at our school. We share with you what to practice and how to practice correctly. We have all heard practice makes perfect but if you practice wrong you get better at doing it wrong. We believe our 3 P’s, Perfect Practice makes Permanent.

CURRICULUM

Think of this course as circuit training at the gym. You will be provided with instruction at 4 different skills stations followed by time to practice.

  1. Slow Riding Control (under 30k) using our FRC technique. Now you can feel confident of what the bike needs you to change when the speeds are slow and the bike is heavy. It’s all about the science of motorcycles.

  2. Emergency Acceleration zone combined with our Optimum Controlled Braking area will allow you to really get in touch of how your bike will act when that extra traction is needed. Great place to feel what ABS and traction control feels like if your motorcycle has that tech. Then a fun apexing drill to allow your brakes to cool for your next run and have some fun instead of waiting in line. How do you get better on your motorcycle? By using more gas. So remember to fill up before you come out.

  3. Safe Cornering exercise. Concentrating on proper body strategies to run less risk (lean angle) in every corner you ride for the rest of your life.

  4. Trail Braking is a necessary skill in modern riding especially street riding where you just never know what’s around the corner. Understanding the importance of smooth initial and final braking is a true game changer for any rider at any level.

This course is designed to increase what we call your safety reserve. You will be better prepared for those riding problems we have all had or going to have because it is not a matter of IF it happens but WHEN.
