- FAQ
-
Q Do I need my own or can I use my own motorcycle to take a course?
A You require your own motorcycle
Q Can you pick me up from my home?
A No. Do to safety and liability reasons you are required to come to our training lot for your session.
Q What do I need to bring?
A Sufficient proficiency on a motorcycle as we are not here to teach you how to ride from the basics, that is what the Learn to Ride course is for. In addition a positive can-do attitude to start. You should not be tired, hung-over, or overly preoccupied with work / family or other troubles. We need you to be focused on the task at hand. Everyone’s safety depends on it.
Q Do people ever crash during the course?
A So far no. We mitigate risk by insisting on the use of safety gear at all times while riding, our course activities are organized and conducted in a way that minimizes risk, and you will find that your coaches frequently stress key safety protocols. While the risk of injury cannot be completely eliminated from motorcycle training, following their advice and instructions will greatly reduce it. Making mistakes is a part of learning afterall.
Q What gear do I need?
A We require that you wear at least good sturdy pair of denim jeans, no fashion holes. As far as equipment goes, a minimum dot approved helmet as required by law. We do strongly suggest the helmet is full faced and that you attend with at least denim jeans (no fashion holes) although armoured riding pants are preferred, armoured riding jacket, armoured riding gloves, and riding boots/shoes that cover the ankle to minimize risk of injury as much as possible.
Q My schedule is complicated and I can’t make any of your available dates. Can you accommodate my schedule?
A Unfortunately no since our schedule has been predetermined and all of our classes have to work around eachother. You are responsible for making arrangements within your personal schedule to make it work for you and be strongly believe that ‘when there’s a will, there’s a way’.
